Why NuGen Clinic?

We are a dynamic, client-centric team, passionate about optimising health for every individual, whatever condition they are experiencing. At NuGen Clinic, we believe health optimisation is like a jigsaw puzzle: each of our team members brings their own puzzle piece, with years of experience in their specialism, ranging from Functional Medicine, A.R.T. Biophoton Field Healing, Naturopathic Nutrition, Conventional Medicine, Craniosacral Therapy and Personal Training. The result of the completed jigsaw is a comprehensive picture that allows us to examine each client with a multifactorial approach. We utilise the newest and most advanced testing, including genetic testing and trend-analytical functional testing. Our approach is truly unique and personalised, giving you insight into genetic propensity, and addressing Nutrogenomic and epigenetic contributors that might be leading to your current health status. Based on our findings, we will work with you to create a tailored plan of services, including diet, lifestyle and supplemental advice.

What is Functional Medicine?

Functional medicine is an individualised, client-centred and science-based approach. Practitioners take the time to examine the complex range of factors that have contributed to the client’s current health status, from genetic and biochemical contributors to lifestyle factors. The approach aims to resolve the root cause of a client’s health concern, rather than merely treating the symptoms, as conventional medicine often does. In detecting the root cause, practitioners become well-practised in identifying the complexities of disease. The approach acknowledges that one condition may have various different causes, and, likewise, one cause might result in a number of different conditions. Providers of functional medicine offer truly personalised healthcare, tailored to a client’s individual genetics, lifestyle, diet, sleep and environmental factors.

What is a Naturopathic Approach?

Like Functional Medicine, a Naturopathic approach aims to address the root cause of a health condition, rather than merely treating the symptoms. The goal is to educate and treat the client as a whole person: mind, body and spirit. The approach embraces numerous natural therapies, including a nutritional plan at its core, with other protocols such as Craniosacral Therapy, homeopathy, meditation, acupuncture and exercise.

What is A.R.T.?

The body, with its associated organs and systems, produce a coherent light pattern when healthy. This light pattern is negatively impacted when organs or systems dysfunction, or are under stress. A.R.T. is targeted at identifying the state of health of the Autonomic Nervous System and the coherence of the biophoton field, allowing for the identification and remedy of the most common factors blocking or stressing healthy functioning of body systems. Using A.R.T. (Autonomic Response Testing), we can look at your body’s systems at biophoton level, examining incoherent patterns within organs and tissues. The aim is to create a personalised protocol for our clients, as well as to ascertain synergy and compatibility between possible recommended supplements and any medication currently taken. This single unique method can examine multifactorial health systems.

What is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle method of touch, examining the membranes and movement of fluid in the Central Nervous System of the body. The technique can promote the body’s ability to self heal, working effectively for clients with a range of health struggles, from chronic migraines, to Fibromyalgia and Multiple Sclerosis.

What is Photon Wave Therapy?

Photon Wave is a technology developed by experienced researchers in medicine, behavioural optometry, kinesiology, psychology and osteopathy. The method can help with numerous conditions, from immune dysfunctions, to heavy metal toxicity, allergies, chronic pain and fatigue, and emotional conditons, such as depression (SAD). It is also suitable for athletes seeking prevention and optimisation, as it can relieve the inflammation caused by training.
